Swindon computer museum
We've been living near-ish to this place for over a decade and for one reason or another we've never actually visited the museum itself. We decided yesterday to change that and go have a little look - I'd also heard that a new arcade had been opened opposite an incredible comic book store and warhammer shop - what's not to like!
We went. We saw. We noticed quite sheepishly that I've probably got enough kit at home to open my own museum... cough cough cough.... although I do now have an idea for making a small scale diorama with small 3D computers and monitors & console machines that all have working parts using arduino / pico devices and small 0.96" OLED screeens etc... that could be amusing / interesting - I could replicate all the big stuff that I have in small scale. watch this space. (this has also inspired me, a lot!)

anyway, pictures, or it didn't happen.
yes, okay, so I still haven't gotten used to the new phone/camera, so here's a token blurred photo. I can take a proper photo of one of the 2 or 3 I have at home if needed :-D
Ah, my favourite beast of the moment (after finding I had 3 working machines in the loft/attic)
Now, I never had a NeXT computer, I have actually worked with some really smart people who used to work for them at this time (who I then worked with at AvantGo) and I also didn't realise that the OS that they invented was sold to Apple as MacOS.... wow!
They don't make game packaging like they used to!
Another fav. of mine - have quite a few of these setup/working at home
ah ha! like is not complete without a copy of Monkey Island!
Ah, stacks of C15/30/60/90 tapes - you can hear the nostalgia
and my missus having a quick go at bugs life on a Mac....
